The Hygiene Bank Nottingham

In July 2020 The Vine Community Centre took over the management of the Hygiene Bank Nottingham.

This addition has enabled us to respond to community need and further our vision of supporting the people of Nottingham by strengthening our connection with groups and organisations from across the city. We aim to support a cross section of the community so please take a look at the website to learn more about the charity.

With our volunteers who can collect and distribute a wide range of Hygiene Products to a network of local Charity partners who in turn give out the products for free to their service users/ clients.

Not a registered charity? That’s okay – all we ask is that you are a not-for-profit organisation, constituted community group, social enterprise, public sector organisation or service or a non-fee paying school that has individuals or families in need.

What is The hygiene Bank Nottingham

The Hygiene Bank is a grassroots charity which started in 2018 and is operated by volunteers. It exists to support people in crisis and those struggling on low income, while at the same time working to inspire social change.

Each Hygiene Bank encourages their local community to donate new and un-used hygiene products, personal care essentials, make-up, laundry and baby products via drop off points in the local area. The donations are sorted and then shared back to those in need within the local area via our beneficiary partners who are charity, government and volunteer organisations.
